  1. haha I like Ziggy.

    Did you reference Van Gogh
in your new painting on purpose?

    Either way I enjoyed it.

  2. Thank you, Pete.
May I ask what reminded you of Van Gogh?

  3. The line quality and texture of your
    forms...and perhaps the composition
    of negative and positive space.

  4. I kind of understood what you meant by remembering Gogh's paintings of plants. It's interesting to know viewer's impression and what I might have been affected by. Thank you.

  5. I am glad you took it as a compliment
because some people don't like being
    compared to other artists...I also
may have made a mistake in using the
    word "painting" because you are
    using colored papers?

  6. Of course, it's much honor to be compared to such a great painter. Viewers often find what painters can't see, so I listen to them modestly.
You may call my works painting regardless of medium and tools, because my works don't have such volume as to be called like objects, sculpture or collages.

  7. Hi Miki. This is wonderful. Very colourful. Could you tell me the dimensions please?
Aren't cats entertaining. If you go to my blog you will see a picture of my cat exploring a pot!

  8. Thank you Carole,
and of course I've already pretty much impressed by the picture of your cat in a pot! I love cats especially with white socks. Please let me know if you've also uploaded other photos of his/her face or whole body.
I've almost forgotten to answer your question. It's 10.12×14.33 inches paper board and thickness of my works is usually around 0.2 inches.
